Hello Queen M and Queen D!!!
I had talked to both of you at different times recently and we all have the same idea....to start fresh and be good January 1st, 2009!!!
Queen D has graduation in May coming up, Queen M has a class reunion in June and I (Queen B) have a family photo session for my parents 50th sometime this spring/summer. In looking over our time frame, planning to make a significant "goal" in six months would hit us all just about right!!!
I thought setting this up would make it easier to connect than calling---we did so well when were were a "united front"....calling each other, boosting each other all worked well for me---and I think for you guys, too? Plus, being accountable to someone other than ourselves is a good thing! I don't know exactly how to use this yet---we can learn as we go!---but I think we can make a spot to track our individual losses (how many pounds per week) as well as tips and recipes, etc.
I bought the "Hungry Girl Cookbook" at Walmart awhile back. I haven't had a chance to look it over real well, but I think there are alot of good recipes there (along with some of those strange ones, too!) Queen M men tioned she still had alot of the recipes I printed out back when we did so well, so that will be good for resources. I have to look for mine--I know I kept it, but where to find it!!
My main goals are to keep track of my points, drink water...and dust off my jump-er-ator and USE IT!! If either of you, or both, go back to WW we can get ideas there as well! I still can't get it to fit my work schedule. If worse comes to worse and I don't get going, I may run to a neighboring town on a different night.
Okay Clearance Queens---here we go!!! 2009 will be the year we "smack down the pounds"!!!
Let's just do it!
